- In-House Core Manufacturing: Stahl produces cores internally, eliminating reliance on outside suppliers and ensuring consistent quality.
- Multiple Core Technologies: We support both hot cured (shell) and cold cured (SO₂) core making processes to match part requirements.
- Material & Process Control: Flexibility in sand grain sizes and resin systems allows optimization for strength, surface finish, and removal.
- Engineering Collaboration: Our DFM and engineering teams work closely with customers to design cores that support casting performance and manufacturability.
- Production Scalability: From low-volume programs to multi-million-part production, Stahl maintains repeatability across every run.
For design engineers, quality managers, and procurement professionals, these advantages translate into aluminum castings that meet performance expectations while reducing manufacturing risk.

By combining advanced core making with full-service aluminum casting operations, Stahl delivers reliable, production-ready components backed by proven manufacturing processes.
Founded in 1946 by Glenn W. Stahl, Stahl Specialty Company began as a regional aluminum foundry and has since evolved into a state-of-the-art permanent mold aluminum foundry and CNC machine shop. Over the decades, the company has continually expanded its capabilities to meet the changing needs of modern manufacturing.
Operating from manufacturing facilities in Kingsville and Warrensburg, Missouri, Stahl produces aluminum castings ranging from two pounds to over 400 pounds. Our long-standing investment in in-house core making has allowed us to support complex casting programs for industries that demand precision, pressure-tight performance, and long-term reliability.
Today, Stahl’s history of innovation and process control continues to guide our approach to aluminum casting core making in Missouri.
